Hi friends! I’m Mackenzie, the gal behind the camera. I’m a photographer based in Austin, Texas and in my spare time you’ll find me exploring the newest coffee shop, spending time with my puppy, Rio, or watering one of my many (thounsand) plants. I’m an entrepreneur at heart and have been starting businesses since I was young. Ever since Mack’s Lemonade Stand, I knew I wanted to create something big and beautiful that helps people. Being a photographer has given me the opportunity to travel and shoot all over the country, meet amazing people, and collect stories along the way.
I’ve been a photographer for eight years and have gotten the chance to do over 400 photo sessions. Of all the time I’ve spent meeting people and capturing them, one thing remains true and bears repeating: nothing makes me happier than being behind the camera. I’m never more fulfilled, excited and motivated to do hard work and create beautiful art than when I get to take someone’s photo.
A beautiful photo makes my tongue twist and robs my words of their ways to communicate how deeply happy it makes me feel. Client connection makes my heart flutter and editing photos after a shoot makes me feel like I’m a kid on Christmas morning. I am so honored to get to do what I love.
I love the idea of documenting one day that a couple will think about and look at for the rest of their lives. My business is relationally driven and because of it, my goal is to showcase authentic connection through my imagery. It’s an honor any time someone invites me into their wedding day and I’m able to build a relationship with a couple. I’d love to capture your important day and from there, put great care and dedication into ensuring the professional delivery of your photos. Let’s create something amazing together.
My Mission As Your Photographer
My mission as your photographer is to show you that I’m not just showing up with a camera. Instead, I intend to cultivate a space for you to come exactly as you are while I capture your heart & document your love. I truly believe that every photo taken reveals a unique beauty of humanity that deserves to be captured. Too often we are told that we are not enough, but I’m here to tell you that the exact opposite is true.
